“In America Hallowe’en is a time where a girl can dress like a total slut and no one can say anything” -Mean Girls

It’s that time again :) What time, do you ask? It’s the night before all Hallow’s Eve, or as it’s more commonly known, Hallowe’en. As I am writing this, I am actually procrastinating writing my history essay on the Vietnam War. As cheery as that might sound, I do believe that blogging might be just a little cheerier.

On the subject of Hallowe’en, I’ve never really been into it, but as I have been invited to not one, but two Hallowe’en parties, which means costume required, I have come to the conclusion that I do not like costume parties, especially a week before exams and the weekend before SwotVac (a period of study before our exams commence). I have, however, figured out what I am wearing. It is not a costume per se, but it is kick ass nonetheless :P :)

I’ve taken a picture of my outfit, not on me, but it’ll look awesome :D I would upload it, but I’ve lost the cord to my phone and the SD card, just a little bit of a drainer D:

I shall describe it, I plan to wear a tulle skirt (knee length), spider web patterned stockings, black ‘bo peep’ top with white spots on it, leather jacket, a top hat and red heels.

It may be a little hot for a leather jacket, but hopefully it cools down by 9 and it gets dark. I’m a little afraid that I will overheat in my outfit since it’s going to be 30 degrees (Celsius) tomorrow. It is forecasted to be cloudy and raining, but that would just mean it’ll be humid, and oh boy do I loathe humidity.

**EDIT** (10 November, 2009)

I finally got ’round to uploading the photos of my outfit onto my computer amidst studying for exam…

Here and here

Anyway, as I can’t think of anything else to write, I’d better get started on my essay :P

And now for the usual stalker-ish facts:

Watching: Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets (just because it’s on TV, not because I actually like the movies. Though, don’t get me wrong, the Harry Potter series is one of my favourites, it’s just the movies have destroyed my childhood/teenage love of the story). Also, I am watching How I Met Your Mother online, best.series.ever! Swarles Barkley says “Suit Up!” “Self five! What up! We out”

“Good morning starshine, the world says helloooooo….” -Willy Wonka (2005 movie: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory)

I have decided to start a generic blog pretty much discussing my general concerns. These will include likes, dislikes, and products of sheer procrastination. Depending on my relative mood, my posts may be as frequent as 2 or 3 times a day, or once a fortnight.

Unfortunately, I am not much of a writer being a science student by nature. Let us face the facts, I am probably a very boring person in retrospect, but I need some sort of creative outlet. I’d love for people to comment, critique or just read this blog.

Let me start off this first post by introducing myself. I am an 18 year old Science student from Melbourne, Australia. My height is somewhat (I know that’s not really a word, but please humour me a little) of a reflection on my ethnicity :P . I enjoy reading, writing and arithmetic (minus the last one). I love studying Science and History, but plan to make a career out of the first. My dream is to become a rich hobo (i.e. a walking oxymoron).

Television, the internet and video games are my vice. Yes, I am just that little bit nerdy/geeky. “It’s hip to be square” as one children’s television show once sung with various shaped muppets. Please ask any questions you like, and I’ll email you back with any answers I deem appropriate.

Signing off with a few stalker-ish facts about myself.

Listening to: Queen- Somebody to love

(re)Reading: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Should be: studying for upcoming exams
